报告内容

Suspension Plasma Spraying (SPS) as a very promising process for producing high strain tolerant Thermal Barrier Coatings (TBCs) has attracted intensive interest during the last decade. In this work, the effect of manufacturing parameters on the microstructure formation and thermal cycling lifetime of axial SPS TBCs was investigated. An understanding of the failure of the SPS TBCs is possible by an analysis of the mechanical properties, this will also be discussed. It seems that even though, higher fracture toughness is beneficial for the lifetime, the higher elastic modulus introduced higher thermal stress leading to a decrease of lifetime.

In addition, new concepts to improve the lifetime of SPS TBCs using APS YSZ interlayers or ODS flash coat bond coats will be described.

报告人简介

Robert Vaßen教授，1990年在德国亚琛工大物理学院获得博士学位，1990年至今在于利希研究中心能源与环境研究所工作，1998年起任热障涂层课题组负责人。2009年起兼任波鸿鲁尔大学工程陶瓷专业教授、瑞典西部大学客座教授。并担任Journal of Thermal Spray Technology杂志编辑委员会主席、Journal of the European Ceramic Society杂志编辑、欧洲热喷涂协会副主席、EuMaT欧洲技术平台筹委会委员、德国陶瓷协会会员、德国工业标准委员会会员和美国陶瓷学会会员，于2017年入选热喷涂协会（ASM）名人堂。目前主要从事等离子喷涂技术、热障涂层、涂层失效机理理论模拟等方面的研究工作。应邀为Journal of Thermal Spray Technology和Surface and Coatings Technology等多种学术杂志评审论文。2010年主持召开了中法国际热喷涂研讨会，已做过超过100次学术会议的邀请报告。Vaßen教授已在国际著名学术期刊上发表学术论文300余篇，研究工作被广泛引用，H-index高达51，总引用达10051次。
